Mirage Finish Process

The process of achieving this finish starts with sanding the raw structure to create a smooth surface, followed by sealing the grains with a specialized sealer to protect the wood's texture. A base coat of paint is applied, which is then refined through sanding to ensure an even texture. After this, a second coat of paint deepens the color, and lacquer is added for protection and a smooth finish.
We then spray a gum solution that dries for several hours, followed by a layer of white paint to create contrast. This is followed by the application of heat with a flame gun, that adds unique variations in color and texture by slightly burning the gum solution and creating a polka-dot like texture. Hand sanding the paint and the slightly burned gum solution creates the final blended texture that we see on this finish.
The finishing touches include a final layer of lacquer for durability, smooth hand sanding for a refined feel, and the application of golden accents on the wooden detailing.
